Annotation by: Dr. Govind Prasad Thapa

The book is translation version of Kalhan. In this book, the historical incident of a fight between Arumudi and Jayapida is given. Though there is no historical records of Aramudi being king, Kalhan mentions him as King of Nepal “who ruled Nepal”. Aramudi captured the king of Kashmir and kept in a fort. Later, the minister, Devasaraman, with cunning designs, helped Jayapid escape riding on the dead body of Devasaraman.
