This book is a comparative study of ten languages of Nepal. It covers, Nepali, Bantawa, Chamling, Gurung, Limbu, Magar, Sampang, Sherpa, Sunuwar, and Tamang. According to the writer these languages are spoken in Panchthar and Taplejung districts of Nepal. It has five chapters. Chapter 1 is introduction; the second and third chapters deal with sound systems and morphosyntax; the chapter 4 and 5 is about lexicon and summary and conclusion respectively. In this work both primary and secondary data have been used. In this work, the sounds used by the speakers are used or prioritized. Their specific sounds are mentioned in the sound system. This work will contribute in the studies of languages in Nepal.
